A Seattle area hospital with dozens of overdutied panels needed a solution to upgrade their panels with minimum downtime. After a field visit to verify existing conditions, Access partnered up with IEM to provide custom fitted, retro-fit panels. These panels used the existing cans to eliminate hours of demolition, and the need to pull back conduits and wires. This solution allowed the contractor to mount a brand-new interior with properly rated breakers in a fraction of the time. In addition to mitigating arc flash concerns, these panels also provided new dead fronts and doors to give the hospital a fresh look – all while satisfying the end user with a lower-cost total install, with far less downtime for this critical facility.
