IEM Factory Visit

Factory witness testing and visual inspections play an important role in delivering confidence on complex electrical projects.

Recently, Brian and Nate from the Access Electric Supply team joined a customer at IEM’s manufacturing facility to participate in a factory visit prior to equipment shipment. During the visit, the customer was able to perform a visual inspection of the equipment and participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to verify performance and confirm the equipment met project specifications.

These visits provide valuable transparency during the manufacturing process and help identify any concerns before equipment reaches the field. For critical infrastructure and large-scale projects, that additional level of verification can help reduce risk, support project schedules, and provide peace of mind to everyone involved.

At Access Electric Supply, we believe collaboration throughout the project lifecycle is key to successful execution, and factory visits like these are one more way we help support our customers beyond simply supplying equipment.

Thanks to our customer for taking the time to join us, and thanks to the team at IEM for hosting us and for their partnership throughout the process.
