  • Hyperscale Data Center CFCI Projects

    Equipment

panelboards, transformers, meters, lighting, custom boxes, UPS systems, PDUs and more

    About The Project

We have successfully completed dozens of CFCI projects for large hyperscale data center builders, supplying an extensive range of electrical distribution equipment, including panelboards, transformers, meters, lighting, custom boxes, UPS systems, PDUs, and more.

Our superior technical capabilities and deep experience in the data center market enable us to consistently meet tough timelines and critical schedules. Our strong vendor relationships and collaboration with exceptional contractors further enhance our project outcomes.

  • Hyperscale Data Center OFCI Project

    Equipment:

    ATSs, start-up services

    About The Project

In this project, Access Electric Supply successfully supplied 72 automatic transfer switches (ATSs) with a remarkable 100% on-time delivery performance. We managed the startup for each ATS phase by phase, ensuring seamless integration and operation.

One of our proudest achievements was our exceptional coordination with all stakeholders—vendors, installers, the commissioning team, and the end user—to meet critical project deadlines. Our extensive experience in the data center market sets us apart, allowing us to expertly manage schedules and coordinate among diverse groups, leading to successful OFCI outcomes.

    MWH22 Tenant Improvement

    Equipment

    RPPs, panelboard, custom metering

    About the project

Following a successful core and shell delivery, Access Electric Supply was further contracted to supply 100 remote power panels (RPPs) to bring the power to the racks. In order to bring the project in on budget, we value-engineered the solution to move to a panelboard build with custom metering. The contractor on the project finished the wiring with a unique cable tray solution that dropped each connector body at the right height to allow the new tenant to power up, on time and under budget.

    IGQ-D Colocation Power Up

    Equipment

    Transformers, MV switchgear, switchboards

    About the project

Access Electric Supply was tasked with powering up an 18 megawatt colocation facility during the height of the pandemic-fueled supply chain issues. We were contracted to supply eighteen 2500kVA transformers, six lineups of medium voltage switchgear with advanced metering and sixty switchboards, amongst numerous other distribution components. The project was not without issues, including freight damage, but through strong project management, creative solutions and a solid customer partner, we delivered on our requirement to meet the deadline.

Legacy Telecom Data Center Upgrades in a Snap

    Equipment:

    PDUs and RPPs

    About The Project

A large telecommunications firm recently divested a number of its legacy data centers to a new owner and the operator had a plan to increase power density… quickly. With cooling substations already in place, they just needed a higher operating voltage which meant upgrading from 208Y/120V systems to 415Y/240V.

In under 12 weeks, Access was able to supply dozens of PDUs (power distribution units) to feed hundreds of 415V RPPs (remote power panels). Both systems had complex submetering for monitoring and data collection. The customer was astonished at the speed (and price) we brought to the project.

    New 18MW Data Center

    Equipment:

MV Switchgear, Liquid Filled Transformers, Switchboards, Panelboards, Dry Type Transformers

    About The Project

A new hyperscale data center was planned to be built in Eastern Washington. The owner reached out to the team at Access Electric Supply for power distribution equipment to take their 13.2kV utility feed down to a workable level.

Access teamed up with multiple vendors to supply custom padmount transformers, switchboards, automatic transfer switches, panelboards, and generator docking stations, among other items.

This complex order was strategically coordinated to align with just-in-time construction schedules, ensuring equipment arrived precisely when needed, minimizing site congestion, and maximizing efficiency.
